...as this function is private.
We have encountered this problem with the “header-manager” plugin. https://github.com/Piwigo/Piwigo-Header-Manager/commit/b30e80f21bd1baaffd9450dd99d5cff5461b17df

We solved the problem by duplicating the core method in the plugin.
