It would be extremely practical to be able to add a tag to an album and have this tag automatically applied to all the sub-albums and photos contained in it.

Adding a tag to an album sounds a bit complicated to me. "Configuration Piwigo so that all photos of an album automatically get a specific tag" sounds simpler. In that case, the question is "what happens when the photo is dissociated from the album?" would it lose the tag or keep it forever?
