**Version:** 2.4.1
On administration home page. The only solution to hide this message is to disconnect and reconnect (ie create a new session)
Maybe there is a variable to unset in the session.

Actually in function upgrade_to() of file admin/include/updates.class.php performs the appropriate :
unset($_SESSION['need_update']);
For now, I don't understand why the message still occurs once updated.

I've performed several tests while upgrading to 2.4.2 and 2.4.3 and I can't reproduce the bug.

I narrow down the issue to the javascript call by the "intro.tpl"
The following URL is call:
"ws.php?method=pwg.extensions.checkUpdates&format=json"
This return the following json:
{"stat":"ok","result":{"piwigo_need_update":true,"ext_need_update":true}}
As "piwigo_need_update" is set to true, the message "A new version of Piwigo is available." show up.
I did not see any HTTP sent header that include the version.
I believe it is in cookie or somewhere else.

I have been able to reproduce with a manual upgrade.
