Hello
I just found Piwigo and installed it (11.0.5) on my server (Ubuntu 18.04, Apache 2.4, PHP 7.4, MariaDB 15.1).
Very nice work, thank you!
I miss a feature though, and didn't find an extension for it:
I want to create an album, to share with some friends but not with everybody.
I want the friends to be able to upload pictures into this album, without login, just they have that cryptic link would be enough. I have the extension "Community" for this, nice extension!
On Google foto there are these handy cryptic links, like e.g.: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Th1s1sAcRyptycL1nK
People can even upload to these shared albums their fotos, but they need a google account, this is absolutely unhandy.
Could it be possible to introduce this feature, maybe as extension, but I don't know yet if this is not too much change of system, that there are albums from where I cannot go back to the main Piwigo site (where the albums are listed) and vice-versa, from the main site, these hidden albums are not shown (not listed)?
I tried to disable an album, but this makes it not just hidden.
I could give the album by myself some strange name and permalink but then still I can access it from the main Piwigo start page.
That missing feature is implented in commercial album sites, like e.g. PicDrop or Swindi, both a bit the same, but expensive and absolutely not opensource and not on my own server.
Thanks for hints or this feature if possible :)

I'm coming from Google Photos and use that feature often.
Looks like a duplicate of #166 where the Share Album plugin was mentioned which does what we want.
