Description of problem:
You have got a galleries directory tree with hidden folders and files.

galleries/folder/file.jpg
galleries/folder/._file.jpg
galleries/folder/.hidden.jpg
galleries/folder/.hide/it.jpg

Excluding hidden files can be done with editing $conf['sync_chars_regex'], but this may make synchronization display a lot of Error messages.
Could Piwigo update process be slightly changed ?

this is a very nice improvement for people who use NFS or other types of share on their installation. In Mac environment, Finder will create "._" files for each photo and it'll be really annoying to see those unreadable icons in Piwigo.

This improvement solves this problem once for all. Great job!
