Hi,

Surprisingly, I couldn't find an existing issue on this topic, so opening one.

It would be astonishing to be able to zoom in pictures with Piwigo. Currently, this is not as user friendly as other software such as google photo for example. In Piwigo, you have to select a small, medium, large, extra large, original picture size. However I believe most of the time, users want to zoom in an image on their phone to a specific part of the image. This is where image tiling comes in handy. This could maybe be performed on the fly, or as a pre-process part.
