Hello,

I'm from Germany and as you know we use ö ä ü and other special keys, that now leads to a problem, over 600 files cannot be imported because the name is not correct...

But I think it's stupid to make Köln, to Koeln , or to make Attila & Luan, Attila_and_Luan, is there a way to use special characters?

Hello or Moin as we say in Germany!

I also had this problem and I added the special "Umlaute" to the regular
expression for the allowed filenames like this:

// permitted characters for files/directoris during synchronization
$conf['sync_chars_regex'] = '/^[ %()äöüÄÖÜßa-zA-Z0-9-+=_.]+$/';

You should activate the "Local Files Editor" plugin and add the above. As
you can see, I added some more characters.

Best regards

Jens

Moin!
