I've loaded my T-Deck Max with Meck but am unable to get phone calls / texts with my SIM card. Currently using T-Mobile. I can get the phone app to say "REG" and "Ready!" and can sometimes see signal bars in the top right. Usually "REG" disappears after it says "Ready!" for a while. Have no trouble with signal when SIM is in other phone.
The following is from serial monitoring my T-Deck Max when trying to make a call (phone number replaced with NUMBER):

Thanks for taking the time to post an issue and including your logs.
It's unfortunately a problem with the A7682E modem chip they use in these devices. It's also annoying that LilyGo doesn't make it the slightest bit clear on their product page. I'll have to make a note in the Readme.
Here's the Claude summary from when another T-Mobile user had the same problem:
So probably your best bet for trying to get it working is try an AT&T sim.

Closing this one as I've noted in the Readme that the type of modem LilyGo has chosen is largely not compatible with US SIM cards.
