iGate - Not sending received APRS packets to APRS server #291

Hardware:

Lilygo T-Beam V 1.1 (433 MHz)

Software:

iGate V. 4.0.0. 16. August 2026

Description:
The iGate recceives raw aprs packets.

The display on the Lilygo T-Beam shows:

But on this iGate there is no forwarding to the APRS.fi server.

I have an older iGate with different iGate software in use.
On this older iGate software the forwarding of the same raw APRS packets to APRS.fi is working, fine.

I tried several settings, using the iGate webinterface, but no forwarding of the received aprs packets to the aprs.fi server achieved.

Used callsigns:

iGate: DM5TU-10 - Passcode OK - iGate on aprs.fi is visbible
Tracker: DN6TU-09 - Packets received by FW CA2RXU iGate, but not forwarded to aprs.fi server.

Please give me some ideas what to change in settings.

well you mean with your FW it will never work?
With y old iGate it works. Have a look.

what "old" iGate ?

using in SSID a 0X (like 09 should not be used and maybe this is why it is not working for you)

Old iGate means:

Lillygo V32 V 1.1 wit FW by OE5BPA - https://github.com/lora-aprs/LoRa_APRS_iGate - Year 2022 - latest available update.

But maybe you are right and the "old" fw is working against some convenetions.

yes, I had to add many rules for it to work fine with all the other ways that APRS works. so this was a needed update.

Please change the tracker said and it should be fine .

Please explain:

APLG01 means what?
An option in your FW?

I have an "New" iGate with your FW, the "OLD" iGate with the OE5BPA FW and an "ols" tracker also with the OE5BPA FW (Tracker)

I will keep this setup as along as your tell me what to change.
