I recently had to debug a LightGateway Plus 1.0 Solar issue where it would not charge.
The only way to determine this was by either 1) watching aprs.fi telemetry info until it died, or 2) take it out of its case and put a VOM meter on it regularly.
Knowing that the device can transmit its telemetry, it would seem feasible for the UI to also display it.
I have a working and tested set of code that does the following:
Adds a "Device / Telemetry" menu item to the web ui
Adds a page to show the internal and external voltage as reported in telemetry packets
added REST-formatted APIs to GET the telemetry (and weather and received packets) information known to the device
I also added code in the received packet screen, as well as the new APIs, to include the date and not just the time.
I will create a PR for you to review and we can discuss if you want all of this.

I have a branch locally but cannot push it here.
If you would be so kind to allow, that would be most appreciated.
thanks!

I'm on the verge of release v4.0.0 update with "very nice" new features (just need a few more days).
after that please work with me to add the telemetry update and also the telemetry viewer on the new UI I've created.
so we add v4.1.0 update with your proposals , what do you say ?

The changes are not that hard on my end (took me an afternoon from first pull to final commit) so I'd be glad to take a look at 4.0 and work with you on that.
Or any other things you may need a hand with :)

let me share this release and we should work with adding "regular" telemetry also to the posible packets of the igate/digi
do you use telegram / signal to have a faster messaging experience after this weekend ?

After speaking with Ricardo, it made more sense to call this Station Settings and put it in a Status section in the menu that include Received packets and Map.
So as to not be confused with APRS telemetry.
Will address getting more information out on RF later.
