Is it possible to add a delay between "Send beacon via APRS-IS" and Send beacon via RF?
When both options are enabled, sending the beacon via internet overlaps the sending beacon via RF on aprs.fi and on a similar websites.
This means I can't see on the map which stations picked my iGate up.
I had to turn off the options "Send beacon via APRS-IS" to see it, but if no station picks my beacon up then i disappear from the map for a few hours.
Or the option of sending te Beacon at separate times, for example:
Send beacon via APRS-IS every: XX minutes (for example: 60 minutes).
Send beacon via RF every: XX minutes (for example: 15 minutes).
I hope I wrote it understandably, my English is poor.
Thank you.
With best Regards.

sending the same beacon on aprs-is and on LoRa RF with a delay would just show the last one processed by APRS-IS.
I guess the send possibility is the best one as we can make it send beacons specifically on each type of way instead of having delays of the same packets

OK and how about this:
The option of sending the Beacon at separate times, for example:
Send beacon via APRS-IS every: XX minutes (for example: 60 minutes).
Send beacon via RF every: XX minutes (for example: 15 minutes).
Send beacon via APRS-IS every ( 3 times Sending beacon via RF)?
This won't be sending the same beacon twice.

- **Send beacon via APRS-IS every ( 3 times Sending beacon via RF)**?

With "Send beacon via APRS-IS" together with "Send beacon via RF" you can't see this:

sending the same beacon on aprs-is and on LoRa RF with a delay would just show the last one processed by APRS-IS.
and sending the beacon over RF with 5 sekend delay (over Beacon thru Internet) will appear (if heard) on aprs.fi as send via RF.
If not heard, it will apear on web page as beacon thru internet.

@SP3GJ just don't focus on APRS-IS (and related websites) in terms of RF analysis because, due to the nature of this system's operation, it doesn't make sense (for example, frame deduplication), not to mention that clogging the RF network with frequent position frames with a path like WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1 etc. also doesn't make much sense... (you can do that in networks with high capacity like 5000 bps)

@SQ2CPA Damian then why it's possible in igate firmware to sent simultaneously via radio and the Internet the same Beacon?
APRS-IS receives the same frame one thru internet and then via RF iGates in reach.
Is it not the same?
If no station picks up my signal for hours, then I disappear from the maps until my signal is picked up by another station and APRS-IS showes Good path!
The internet connection is much faster than sending Beacon via another iGate over 100-150 km away, this means that the internet connection will always be shown first on APRS-IS even if I was picked up and forwarded by another igate.
This is not visible with both options enabled.
My suggestion was for the iGate to send e.g. 2x beacons via radio and 1x via the internet in any order, time and number you choose:
RF, RF, IS, RF, RF, IS .... or FR, IS, RF, IS, (time interval 15 min)
This will not affect the number of send frames.
With best regards.

because the main goal is not to reach aprsfi... you have the choice of sending via RF and directly to APRS-IS because if you want the beacon to be also visible via RF in local stations then you enable sending via RF. Another thing is that if you have both options enabled then if you lose internet connection you still have beacon via RF available.
If no station picks up my signal for hours, then I disappear from the maps - and nothing happens... your station still works fine right? there is no problem at all from the network side.
If you have Digipeater (without internet) that works fine in local region it will still repeat local data, like messages, beacons between for example local mobile stations and it will work very well without visibility on aprsfi.
There are people who are doing APRS and are not visible on aprsfi, does that mean nothing works for them?
