I have some igate devices working as digipeater (remote mountain position, solar power, EM mode ON, no internet), igate are down in the valley and can be reach with 1/10 mW. So to save battery and reduce QRM power at digipeater is reduced to 5mW.
At same time I'd like to keep using more power at beacon transmission (every 30m) to investigate coverage area.
Is it possible, in future release, to handle a dedicated power for beacon transmission?

so you propose to have a different value for the Station Beacon than the values of the repeated packets ?
what do you think to add this as a experimental topic (as I had this some time ago) as to study the coverage area is a "momentary" process
hi Silvio,
is a good idea !!
