Hi All,
I've been struggling with this for while. I've read all the messages and cant seem to solve this problem.
When I program a LilyGo board to function as a digi repeater, the display wont turn off. As per normal the AP is active at 192.168.4.1.
Now if I program a LilyGo to function as an igate, the display will turn off only if it has a ssid and password to connect to my home network.
In the "Configs" and "Display" section its set for the default values of 4 secs and off.
It would seem that if the AP is active, the display timeout wont function.

The display timeout on the tracker works fine which is a T-Beam.

The firmware is the latest v3.2.2.
The boards are T3 v1.6.1.
Windows 10
Google Chrome.

Any clues would be good.

Hi Ricardo,

OFF(NORMAL MODE-WiFiAP & SERIAL OUTPUT ENABLED) on digipeater.

I’ll send you the config files of the igate and digipeater.
The igate -10 display works fine. It turns off as programmed.

I forgot to mention yesterday that the tracker model is a T-Beam-v1.1. It has the AXP-2101 chip. The display on this works as programmed.

If you get a moment could you run your eye over the other settings and let me know if there are any other mistakes I’ve made?

Hi Erwan,

That’s good to hear as I was starting to think I was the only one with this issue.
I’m sure the Guru will get to the bottom of it.
The display on the Heltec tracker I have here works fine.

this should be solved with V.4.0.1. (I will update this tonight):

I tested tonight and in normal mode, no matter what value you enter in “display timeout” the screen is always on.
