When I remove all beacon path, the path has the message "We prefer WIDE1-1". So I don't know if I don't have a path.
I don't need any path on a beacon on an IGate. No digipeating LoRa around me anyway. Shorter is better (no path) but with the message, I don't know what is in there.
Thanks

Hi,
will you use the board/station as pure igate or pure digipeater o mixed of both?
the path is for sending the iGate Beacon (which usually matter more for RF TX of it and not much when only sent by internet)

I plan on doing one or the other, possibly at different times. I just want to be sure the ability is there to not send a path on RF. It just isn't clear when the menu field fills with "We prefer WIDE1-1".
I have several "regular" aprs IGates, and I do understand the value of having a path. I do prefer WIDE1-1 when I need a path, but sometimes not necessary.

Meanwhile "RFONLY" would be as no path for RF beacon and ensures no igate uploads it to APRS-IS
