returning to this, what is the goal to send frequently status packets?
If the status text is not sent out via APRS-IS and/or RF at least every 24-48 hours (not sure how long exactly ... one, two or three days) it disappears in the APRS.fi display on the map:
I noticed on my iGate (running 24/7) that the status text is only sent out when it is powered on but not anymore after that. That is why I asked for that feature ...
To prevent that the status text is sent out too often an alternative could maybe be to program a fixed intervall for the status text:
- SEND STATUS AT EACH BOOT (and then once every 24 hours)
Thanks

Is there a reason that you did not use the beacon text? That will transmit every 10-15 minutes, it will keep aprs.fi happy.
My beacon text is something like "LoRa APRS Digi 433.775MHz BW125 SF7 CR4:6 de N7UV" and I transmit it every 10 minutes. Does a similar thing not work for you?

Is this image from a modified version of my firmware or from other developer ?
no, just played around with my photo editing software ...
