In version 3, in ultra ECO mode, the I2C for communication with BME280 does not seem to work. When it is switched on, igate/digi sends empty WX data. I am successfully using version 2025.03.20, and in eco mode the WX works normally. With this version I have the digipeater powered by a 12V solar battery with a low power 5V regulator and a T3_V1.6.1 board. The idle consumption is 30mA from 12V battery total.
Is there any change in FW to support WX sensor in Ultra Eco Mode?
What is the usefulness of ECO mode with only Wifi turned off. Perhaps just as a serial TNC with diplay? Or other?

Yes, LORA32 T3_V1.6.1.
The part of paket seems so:
ECO MODE: G.../...g...t...Ground temp WX sensor Batt=4.05V (No temp, without humidity, pressure at all)
NORMAL MODE: G.../...g...t059h61b09930Ground temp WX sensor Batt=4.05V
Yes, LORA32 T3_V1.6.1.

Hi.
Any news? I tried more LoRa32 V1.6.1 boards and more BME280 sensors (both 5V and 3V3 versions), and the behavior is still the same - incorrect WX data string. I'm sorry because the power consumption in "ultra eco mode" of the entire board during RX is really around 13mA!

Hi, thanks for the info, I'm really looking forward to it. I have one project nearing completion where a working new version would be very useful. Thanks again!

this will be validated in the weekend and get fixed with new firmware for igate coming next week

it was working on my side, which board do you have there? lora 32 V1.6.1 ? to check on it again...
