When entering a callsign in the field, especially with a phone, a space is inserted immediately after the area code.

This causes a problem and the connection to the APRS servers is not correct.

this is a phone thing. when you enter text, the phone thinks at the end of
the text it is a word and appends a space. this also happens when entering
the SSID in the wifi field.
