The selection of icons is quite confusing as the primary icons are not easily configurable. It might be useful to introduce some selector like beacon.table and toggle overlay in the settings instead of using the overlay to switch tables.

Clarification:
It's easier if the actual fixed drop down list in the web UI is replaced by one-character-fields for table, symbol and overlay.
Today if a symbol is already set in the igate_conf.json with no corresponding drop down list entry, web UI will show an empty field and no symbol. Another possibility is to offer e.g. the complete symbol table as one point & click bitmap in the web UI enabling direct choice.
